Compass Diversified Holdings Declares Fourth Quarter 2013

Westport, Conn., January 9, 2014 – Compass Diversified Holdings (NYSE: CODI) (“CODI” or the “Company”), an owner of leading middle market businesses, announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.36 per share. The distribution for the three months ended December 31, 2013 is payable on January 30, 2014 to all holders of record as of January 23, 2014.

Alan Offenberg, CEO of Compass Diversified Holdings, stated, “We are pleased to declare our fourth quarter distribution of $0.36 per share. We have now declared a distribution each quarter since our IPO in May of 2006 and, including this quarter, will have cumulatively distributed $10.3152 per share to our shareholders.”

CODI owns and manages a diverse family of established North American middle market businesses. Each of its eight current subsidiaries is a leader in their niche market.

CODI maintains controlling ownership interests in each of its subsidiaries in order to maximize its ability to impact long term cash flow generation and value.
